Celebration to Honor Local EMS Professionals, Healthcare Administrators and Law Enforcement Officials

WHAT: Native Air to host honorary celebration to mark 10-year anniversary of its air medical services helicopter base, which serves patients of Cobre Valley Community Hospital in Globe, Ariz.

WHY: For the past 10 years, Native Air has been transporting patients in need of air medical support and services within the Globe, Ariz. area as well throughout local surrounding communities, spanning about a 75-mile radius. Native Air’s10-year anniversary celebration of the helicopter’s operations will be marked by a ceremony to honor local emergency medical services professionals, hospital administrators and law enforcement officers, all of whom have played s key role in serving the community’s medical needs. The agencies to be represented at the ceremony will include: Cobre Valley Community Hospital, Tri-City Fire Department, Globe Fire Department, Superior Fire Department, Globe Police Department, Gila County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Public Safety of Arizona, San Carlos EMS and Canyon Fire Department.

Representatives of each these organizations will be present and bestowed with an appreciation award from Native Air in recognition of their commitment to the delivery of patient care and service and their dedication to helping others.

St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance, the world’s first food bank, is a non-sectarian, nonprofit organization that alleviates hunger by efficiently gathering and distributing food to 675 sites that serve the hungry.
