When to Call for Omniflight

  • Multiple-system trauma
  • ST Elevated Myocardial Infarction with >30 Minute Transport Time to PCI Facility
  • Rural Onset of Stroke/CVA Signs and Symptoms
  • Unresponsive to verbal stimulation
  • Hemodynamically Unstable Medical or Trauma Patient
  • Entrapment (vehicular, industrial, residential or agricultural)
  • Associated fatality in the accident vehicle
  • Revised Trauma Score of 11 or less
  • Transport time greater than 20 minutes to the appropriate receiving facility
  • Mass Casualty
  • Incident Depletes Local Resources
  • Burns
  • Pediatric Emergencies
    • Trauma
    • Near Drownings
    • Respiratory Emergencies
    • Burns
  • Other surgical or medical emergencies
  • Neonatal Interfacility Transfers (Pediatric/Neonatal Specialty Team)
  • Pediatric Interfacility Transfers (Pediatrci/Neonatal Specialty Team)
  • Interfacility Adult Transfers
    • To or From Cath Lab
    • Balloon Pump Patients
    • Stroke/CVA Patients
    • Surgical Patients
    • Hemodynamically Unstable Patients
    • High Risk Pregnancy Patients (Cannot be in Active Labor)
    • Burn Patients

Please notify the dispatch center if the patient is:

  • In Active Labor
  • In Excess of 350#
  • A Prisoner
  • Subject to ANY Isolation Procedures
  • Requiring an Isolette
