Regional ManagementRalph McDaniel, Vice President – Eastern Region
Ralph McDaniel is Omniflight’s East Region Vice President. In this capacity, he oversees operations throughout the southeastern area. Formerly, McDaniel was a co-owner of Georgia Aeromedical, Inc. and an owner and operator of Rescue Air 1 helicopter operations in Georgia, which Omniflight acquired in September 2006. Prior, McDaniel was a Director of Georgia Baptist Life Flight, owned and operated by Georgia Baptist Health Care System. He earned his CMTE (Certified Medical Transport Executive) through the Medical Transport Leadership Institute. McDaniel’s impressive air medical services career spans nearly 35 years. He began his career December 1973, initially focusing on ground ambulance services, and began transitioning to the air medical services industry in 1982. Joel Hochhalter, Vice President – Central Region
Joel Hochhalter has been working within the air medical services sector for more than a decade. Hochhalter began working with Omniflight in 2007, when the company acquired Southwest Med Evac of Las Cruces, New Mexico, where he served as President. Prior, he was a Program Director at PHI Air Medical in Albuquerque, New Mexico and in Indianapolis. In addition, he served as Director of Lifeguard Air Emergency Services for University of New Mexico Hospitals, also in Albuquerque. Hochhalter held several similar roles at various emergency medical service-related companies in Boise, Idaho including Director of Air Medical Operations for Northwest Paramedic Associates; and Co-owner/Vice President and Director of Medical Services Operations at Access Air Ambulance. Lee McCammon, Vice President – Western Region
Lee McCammon, began his medical services career as a paramedic about 25 years ago. Since that time, he has held various management positions within the air medical services sector. He joined Omniflight as Vice President for the Western Region in January 2006. Prior, he was Regional Director at PHI Air Medical Group in Phoenix and a Program Manager for Air Evac Services (PHI), also in Phoenix as well as LifeNet of the Heartland in Olathe, Kansas. He was an original flight crewmember with NorthStar, the New Jersey State Police/UMDNJ Air Medical Program. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the National Flight Paramedics Association and was also Executive Director there in 1996. He was also a Board member for the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems from 1997-1999. The Association of Air Medical Services selected McCammon as the Bell Helicopter 2000 Program Director of the Year. William Pike, Vice President, Business Development
Bill Pike began his career as a healthcare attorney for Georgia Baptist Health Care Systems, based in Atlanta. From there, he went on to become Owner, President and CEO at Rescue Air 1, an air medical services company in Atlanta, which served certain areas of the Southeast. When Rescue Air 1 became part of the Omniflight network in the fall of 2006, due to acquisition, Pike assumed his current role as Vice President, Business Development. In this position, he is responsible for business development and marketing for the company, fostering new relationships and strengthening the company’s current business alliances and industry presence. |
