Omniflight provides services to its customers through three types of programs.

Omniflight's Programs

Omniflight provides services to its customers through three types of programs. With our traditional programs - OmniRX - we have contracted with established hospitals and medical providers to provide them full aviation services, including on-site aircraft representation, pilots and maintenance staff.

Under our community-based programs - OmniComX - all components of the air medical operations are outsourced to Omniflight.

In some instances, Omniflight is engaged in hybrid (combination) programs - OmniFleX - whereby hospitals determine their specific needs and programs are crafted to directly meet those requirements.

Hospital-based Programs: OmniRX

With Omniflight’s hospital-based programs, various hospital or emergency medical services agencies have made a strategic decision to incorporate air medical services into their specific facilities’ offering.

In these cases, Omniflight provides all of the aviation support as well as the aircraft, pilots and mechanics.  Additionally, with this type of arrangement, customers assign their own medical personnel.  Omniflight’s customers accept all the financial risk with hospital-based programs and directly bill clients for the service.

Because Omniflight provides quality customer service and safe transportation at a competitive price, the company has been successful at retaining many of its hospital-based customer relationships for more than two decades.

Community-based Programs: OmniComX

Across all our community-based programs, Omniflight offers air medical services from our own facilities using pilots, medical crew and maintenance staff employed by us. Omniflight’s community-based programs are typically found in key strategic markets where the company can seamlessly provide services to communities that traditionally have been under-served by other air transport providers, or those areas not served at all by any air service provider.

Omniflight continues to identify appropriate new markets in need of its community-based type programs and services.  Toward this end, Omniflight can swiftly begin operations in a particular key geographic area by employing a turnkey [medical operation] approach.  This includes locating and leasing a hangar and crew quarters, hiring its own pilots, medical crew and maintenance personnel to staff a base in a particular local area.

Under this program, Omniflight accepts all the financial risk and directly bills for these services.

Typical customers that fall under the community-based program model are small community healthcare clinics; community hospitals without tertiary care services, rural emergency medical services providers and fire agencies.

Hybrid Programs: OmniFleX

Omniflight remains flexible to its customers by catering to their individual needs. Its customized hybrid programs allow the company to provide certain components of the air medical services offering to clients, such as pilots, maintenance staff and/or aircraft. Hospitals or emergency services agencies can opt to work with Omniflight while still providing their own clinical staff. Under this arrangement, a complete array of services is available, allowing for the establishment of tailored programs that meet the needs of any customer.
