Omniflight’s STARS peer recognition program affords employees additional opportunities to excel in the workplace. Each employee has a chance to earn STAR status, and if recognized at his or her annual performance review, they receive the opportunity to earn additional compensation.

Omniflight STARS program is evaluated based on the following premises:

Safety – First and foremost, safety is exemplified by the activities of our employees. This can be in the form of the protection of patients, co-workers and the public as well as the physical and financial assets of the company.

Teamwork – Employees that exhibit conviction, spirit, a positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm are eligible for the program. Co-workers recognize the value this individual brings to the team…and they learn from his/her actions.

Accountability – Employees hold themselves accountable. Blame is not in their vocabulary. Their actions are well known by others. They thrive on the challenge rather than shy away from it. There is a positive feeling things will go well when these types of individuals are involved.

Results - Employees should deliver consistent positive results throughout their day-to-day activities. The results are well documented and known by many. They set the standards for others to follow.

Service – These individuals operate at the highest levels of the company’s standards in terms of customer service and satisfaction – not only to the customer but also to fellow employees. They represent the organization at its best, with the proper style, etiquette and demeanor. They serve as role models.
